SRS Partnership have a new and exciting vacancy for an experienced Financial Accountant to join their clients existing Finance Team based in their state-of-the-art facility in Irvine.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will provide financial support and direction as part of the finance function while having the responsibility for management, financial accounts and other information.
Key Responsibilities
- Monthly and quarterly management accounts production
- Preparation and management of balance sheet account reconciliations
- Assist with maintenance of fixed asset register
- Preparation of cash flow projections, forecasts, and capital expenditure reports
- Assist with audit preparation, liaising with audit team
- VAT returns
- Supporting Head of Functions
- Purchase ledger supervisor
- Credit Control
- Manage the Accounts Team on day-to-day tasks
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA & CIMA) with a minimum of 3 years PQE.
- Experience in the construction or manufacturing sector preferred.
- Proficient in systems e.g., MS Office – excel, word, outlook, and ERP.
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability with a high degree of accuracy.
- Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proactive approach to proposing and implementing process improvements.
- Resilient and capable of working under pressure in a demanding environment.
- Strong commercial awareness, business acumen.
