Financial Accounts Assistant

Based on the outskirts of Glasgow, our client are an independent firm of chartered accountants, providing business and personal accountancy services to clients in Scotland and the north of England. They pride themselves upon their high quality and personal levels of service along with their strong reputation in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of financial statements.
  • Take responsibility of tax returns for personal/corporate.
  • Submit documents to official bodies such as HMRC.
  • Liaise with organisations and clients in an effective/timely manner.
  • General administration.

What we expect from the Successful Applicant

  • 3 years’ experience within practice.
  • Previous experience with IRIS, SAGE, XERO (further training will be provided).
  • Proficient in MS packages (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
  • Excellent attention to detail and be confident working to tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
